Renaissance of Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy founded in December 2018 as a collaborative effort between Renaissance of Jiu Jitsu founder Clinton Dosio and Robson Moura, 5th degree black belt and multiple 8x time world champion. This effort was made to bring the positive impact of Jiu Jitsu and its lifestyle to individuals and families to North East Florida and to the world.
The vision of the academy is to change peoples lives through Jiu Jitsu. Whether lives are changed by world class instruction, hard work, perseverance or the character development program for kids, ROJ wishes for every individual to see the world in a positive light by the rewarding work that’s accomplished by pushing themselves and their piers.

Another word for “Renaissance” is “Rebirth”. Renaissance of Jiu Jitsu is the rebirth of the classic art of Jiu Jitsu used in today’s teachings that allows individuals to not only apply the art for self-defense and competition, but to also utilize the principles taught in Jiu Jitsu as the clay to shape their way of living at home, schools, business and any other social interactions.

Robson “Robinho” Moura is a 5th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a 8X World Champion. He is from Teresopolis (a small town in the mountains of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), and currently resides in Tampa, FL. where he established The Robson Moura Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy.
Robson has been competing in BJJ competitions since the age of 13. With an excellent martial philosophy, hard working style and love of the game, he is among the greatest of the world’s Jiu-Jitsu players.
Robson holds his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under world renowned Master Andre Pederneiras.
Professor Clint Dosio
ROJ Owner and Local Instructor
Clinton started ROJ with a passion to bring the positive impact of Jiu Jitsu and its lifestyle to individuals and families to North East Florida and to the world. Professor Clint is from North East Florida . He holds a black belt and trained under Robson Moura while living in Tampa, FL. Clinton continues to train under Professor Robson Moura while residing in North East FL with his family. Clinton loves to compete on regional and world stages. While teaching, he emphasizes the self defense aspects of Jiu Jitsu as the core foundation of the belt system and builds on that foundation for competition training.
